My Story & My Work

My name is Anne Fenlon, and I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

I am based in Wexford and a native of New Ross, Co. Wexford, offering professional counselling and psychotherapy for adults and couples.

I’m someone who has been through counselling long before becoming a Counsellor. I understand what it is like to start this journey.

My Approach

I have always been deeply curious about what drives people and shapes how we experience life. Why do some people seem to move through life with ease, while others struggle when faced with challenges? Why can life feel so overwhelming at times, and what keeps us feeling stuck in difficult moments?

These questions are at the heart of my work.

As a humanistic integrative counsellor, I believe that every person is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I work collaboratively with you, offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Suddenly I realise, that if I stepped out of my body I would break into blossom.

Supporting You

My role is to support you in developing the strength and understanding needed to face life’s challenges. Therapy can be a gradual process, and at times it may feel difficult, but we will move at a pace that feels right for you—one step, or even one breath, at a time.

Often, we can become so closely identified with our struggles that we lose sight of ourselves. My hope is to help you reconnect with your sense of self, so you can begin to feel more grounded, whole, and empowered in your life.
